On February 16 2000 at L.A.'s Wiltern Theater, the stars came out to assist playwright Eve Ensler give birth to her third V-Day - and Eve.com was a proud sponsor. What is V-Day? A gathering of the feminist A-list to perform Ensler's consciousness-raising hit play, The Vagina Monologues. It was a sold-out benefit, organized by the L.A. non-profit women's group Step Up, to raise money for Ensler's number one cause, an end to rape and domestic violence. (www.step-up.org.)
