Ever since we first interviewed the very loveable Brittany Murphy, we just haven't been able to stop raving about her. She's so smart and funny, we just know your gonna lover her too. So we've signed her to do a free-forum advise column right here in TM. But before she gets started, we had to find a way for all of you to get to know Brit a little better. So... we payed a little visit to her home in Califonia where she told us all sorts of fun stuff about herself!. Check it out: TEEN MACHINE: Hey, Brittany!. How are you?. BRITTANY: I'm good, thanks!. How are you?. TM: Terrific!. Next month you're gonna be starting your own advise column here at TM. Are you psyched?. BRITTANY: Yes!. This is so cool. I'm so excited. I love giving advice to people and helping people out. I really like to learn from people's experiences. I really hope that what I say helps. TM: Who do you go to for advise?. BRITTANY: Well, I don't get myself into that complicated of situations usually. I'm pretty good with working things out. The most complicated ones involve buisness stuff, so it would be my mom. We would work it out together. TM: Tell us a little about you. What do you like to do for fun?. BRITTANY: Movies. Basic things. I love going to amusement parks. I love theatre, and concerts are cool. TM: Have you been to any good ones lately?. BRITTANY: Yes!. En Vogue was here with Arrested Development. They were awesome!. Unbelievable!. They made such a perfect match. TM: What else are you into?. BRITTANY: I like to cook inventive things. When I first came to LA, I was living with a chaperone and I had to cook for myself. I learned every way there is to make chicken. I also love making salad dressing, and my mom makes great cranberry muffins. They're so good. TM: We heard that you're pursuing a singing career. BRITTANY: Definitely. I love singing. I'm really into it now since we're on hiatus and I have more time for it. Music is my favorite thing. I love gospel music, R&B, some hip hop. I love it!. TM: Do you like to shop?. BRITTANY: Yes!. Melrose is great. They have all these unique shops and stuff you can't get everywhere. And I live right next door to a mall, which is cool. There are tons of different stores in there. TM: Do you have any fashion tips you can share with us?. BRITTANY: Be yourself. I don't like it when people go into those stereotypical ways of dressing. In school, everyone dresses exactly the same. People should dress to reflect their own personality. TM: Thanks a lot, Brittany!. BRITTANY: Thank you! Starting next issue, you can ask Brit for her tips on everything from fashion and friendship to dating and school... whatever!... and she'll give you her best advice!.
