New Jersey native Brittany Murphy’s career has been gaining momentum with several eclectic and impressive performances, including her breakthrough role in the box office smash, Clueless and the critically acclaimed Girl, Interrupted. This busy actress can be seen in many recent and upcoming releases including Summer Catch, Don’t say a Word, Riding in Cars with Boys, and next year’s Spun. On Broadway, Murphy starred in the Tony Award winning revival of Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge. TV credits include the Showtime telefilms Common Ground, The Devils Arithmetic, as well as the ‘Oprah Winfrey Presents’ remake of David and Lisa and she can be heard as the voices of Luanne and Joseph on the animated series, King of the Hill.
